If you're a member of our society, please check out the Union County Databases tab. We have added an index for Slave Deeds found in Deed Books Vols 1 & 2. This is a work in progress and as our volunteers build the indexes from Vols 3 - 6 they will be added. If you are not a member of our society, you are invited to join.
Used Book Sale
The Heritage Room is selling duplicate books that we have received from various sources. Some of these books are in great shape other show use and wear, they will be sold as is. If you are local please stop by. Our hours are 10 - 3, M - W, and 10 - 1 Th. We are located at 300 N. Main in the Old Historic Courthouse. We can also ship to you via media mail at $6 per book.Rates for multiple books will vary. Call the Heritage Room, 704-289-6737, for questions. Check back for updates, we will add more as time allows.

The Heritage Room located in the Old Historic Courthouse in downtown Monroe, NC is back to normal hours with the Governor's updated openings.
